I'm interested with what Pope Benedict XVI said (highlighted in blue). hehe.
Pope Benedict XVI said:
On Sunday, Pope Benedict XVI added his voice to the debate about euthanasia, calling it a "false solution" to the tragedy of suffering. "The true response cannot be to give death, even if it is seemingly more soothing, but to show the love that can help people face pain and agony in a human way," he said in his weekly address.

My personal opinion, in this world where everything is instant... we tend to think of instant solution. To relate with things that we daily meet, like if work is not as what we like, quit the job. Or if you don't feel comfortable with someone, avoid him/her. What ever we do to make the 'uncomfort' to go away. Well the things I thought of may relate with preference, but can we shape our preference according to what-would-Jesus-do point of view? To be imitators of God, we need to be less like 'us' (our sinful nature). Hm just a thought...
